Conan Exiles Enhanced is now on Steam, providing the biggest technical overhaul to Funcom’s long-running survival game since launch, and the best part is that existing owners won’t have to pay for it.
This free update moves Conan Exiles to Unreal Engine 5, giving the game improved visuals, better lighting, improved character and environmental details, updated effects, performance improvements, a new UI, and a series of quality of life changes. In short, this is the kind of update that makes you wonder if you should reinstall the device just to see how shiny all the murder and misery is now.
The timing is also right. Conan Exiles originally launched on May 8, 2018, meaning this Enhanced update comes just days before the game’s eighth anniversary. Funcom says more than 15 million players have entered the brutal Robert E. Howard-inspired world since then, where many people are chased across the desert while trying to remember where they left their pants.
The big change, besides the exciting move to Unreal Engine 5, is the way Conan Exiles now handles its two main maps. For the first time, The Exiled Lands and Isle of Siptah can exist as part of one connected experience. Isle of Siptah is still a separate purchase, but players who own it can now travel between the two regions without starting a new character or choosing a different map at launch.
This will be a big problem for multiplayer servers, which can now support both maps simultaneously. For players who have spent years building, raiding, crafting, and being deeply suspicious of everyone around them, this expands the scale massively.
Funcom is also targeting 60 FPS and above on Low, Medium, High, and Ultra settings on most PCs, while promising strong Steam Deck performance for those who prefer barbaric survival with less worry about handheld battery life.
Conan Exiles Enhanced is now available as a free upgrade for all Steam owners. Currently, there are no confirmed plans to bring the Enhanced update to consoles, the Epic Games Store, or the Windows Store, although Funcom and Inflexion Games say future platform releases are being evaluated.
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
